Sebastian is managing director at PandionPartners, a global Corporate Finance advisory. Within Pandion Sebastian is focusing on Technology M&A. His passion is to transform technology into business. Sebastian is helping ambitious innovators to improve their strategic value with own and acquired technology and has diverse transaction experience. He is an IESE Alumnus and President of the AMP 2016.
Sebastian Moss studied Business Administration at Hamburg University, with majors in Industrial Management, Banking & Finance. After starting his career in 1985 with McKinsey, he joined Olympus Optical in 1988 in Hamburg, where he was Head of Marketing Europe and later Head of the Application Development Department. During his time with Olympus he was responsible for marketing medical goods, technology services and software to hospitals. In 1999, he joined the publishing group Georg von Holtzbrinck (nature, Scientific American, Die Zeit, Handelsblatt and others) where he spearheaded the introduction of media-neutral production systems and the commercialization of cross media content online for the group. He was also managing director of a Georg von Holtzbrinck group affiliate which he turned around and then sold to an American software company.
With his extensive start-up experience, he today is advising large corporations on carving out new businesses as well as start-ups to take the next step forward.
Sebastian Moss was born in Hamburg in 1961 and a sailor (of course). He is married with two children.
