The Waldwirtschaft team invites us again to the Little American Oktoberfest. The festivities start at 12 noon and continue throughout the day.
With the organizational support of the AGBC’s Dave Dowdy, Linda Jo Rizzo (also an AGBC member) is the Master of Ceremonies and leads the country-western, rock and pop music entertainment with Mark Coonradt and the Texas Bandits. The event will also feature bull-riding (on the mechanical monster), lasso-ing, horseshoes and Cowboy boot tossing, square dancing, can-can girls, and a wild-west show. For the kids there will be Kinderschmink and magic tricks.
At 1330 we will kick off the competition at the 2016 AGBC Mini Golf Tournament. It’s an anyone-can-play event. Yes, you too can “win!” Contestants will “vie” to take home the truly stunning and multi-purpose AGBC 2016 Mini Golf trophy.
Around 1600 the Waldwirtschaft will treat us to a keg of free beer during a special keg-opening ceremony performed by US Consul General Jennifer Gavito. You can also purchase Kobe-beef hamburgers (for a specially reduced price), US steaks and a full assortment of delicious Biergarten food from the kiosks.
Our reserved tables in the beer garden are facing the band and located under the white umbrellas. Since this is a beer garden, we will not reserve special tables for the individual groups. If you want to sit together with your group, you are encouraged to arrive early enough to save places.
Please come on out and join us. Invite your friends who may be interested in meeting with us. The Waldwirtschaft is located in the Georg-Kalb-Str. 3, 82049 München-Pullach. There are parking facilities, but you can also come out on your bicycle or with the S7-Bahn (exit Isartalbahnhof). It's a quick 10-minute walk from the S-Bahn exit to the Waldwirtschaft.
If you intend to join us, please be sure to sign up in the AGBC Events Tool at www.agbc-munich.com by Wednesday, 29th June.
