Catch us, if you can! AGBC Munich is embarking on its first bicycle ride around the charming Ammersee, one of Bavaria’s most scenic lakes. Given the distance (about 50 km), most will use E-bikes. We will start and finish at Herrsching, then drive afterwards to Andechs for an optional meal at the world-renowned Kloster Andechs.

The tour includes 15-30 minute stops at Ammersee’s primary points of interest, where food and drink will be available:

Fischen – Ramsar Protected Wetland

Diessen – Gasteig Haus – Meeting house for "der Blaue Reiter" artists

Utting – historical Alte Villa

Breitbrunn – Königsberg – proposed site for King Ludwig’s 4th castle

Herrsching – various historical sites.

Interested? Please be sure to sign up by 10th June in the Events tool at www.agbc-munich.com as we need sufficient time to finalize the event arrangements.

This will be an extra special event, one that you will remember. Hopefully we will have Kaiserswetter with the great Bavarian blue sky. However, In the event of rain, we will ride anyway so please be prepared to bring your ponchos.
